About Composition:

Beta-carotene is the precursor of Vitamin A and in the body it is converted into Vitamin A which is required for a variety of physiological functions in the body especially maintaining the functioning of the human eye. It helps in formation of pigment Rhodopsin during dark adaptation and promotes differentiation and maintains structural integrity of epithelia. Vitamin A helps in mucous production. Vitamin A regulates proper bone growth and improves resistance to infection. It is also required better immunity.
Lycopene is a plant nutrient with antioxidant properties helps in scavenging free radicals. It's the pigment that gives red and pink fruits, such as tomatoes, watermelons and pink grapefruit, their characteristic color. Lycopene has been linked to health benefits ranging from heart health to protection against sunburns and certain types of cancers.
Bilberry contains anthocyanosides which is use against macular degeneration caused by diabetes mellitus. It has been reported to lower blood glucose, to have anti-inflammatory and lipid-lowering effects, and to promote antioxidant defense and lower oxidative stress. Therefore, bilberry is of potential value in the treatment or prevention of conditions associated with inflammation, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia or increased oxidative stress, cardiovascular disease (CVD), cancer, diabetes, and dementia and other age-related diseases. There are also reports that bilberry has antimicrobial activity.
Lutein is xanthophyll carotenoids found in green vegetables and has important antioxidant functions in the body. Along with other natural antioxidants, including vitamin c , beta carotene these pigments prevent the damaging of cells by free radicals, which are unstable molecules that can destroy cells and play a role in many diseases. Lutein may decrease the risk for age related macular degeneration and retinopathy. It functions as a light filter, protecting the eye tissues from sunlight damage.
This is a highly essential supplement for eye health; lutein forms a protective shield and prevents formation of cataracts as well as macular degeneration in the eyes. This essential carotenoid has been researched in numerous clinical studies and shown to support the health of the macula, support vision under low-light conditions, and protect your eyes against oxidative stress caused by harmful blue light.
Astaxanthin is keto- carotenoid. Astaxanthin is not converted to vitamin A in the human body so it is completely nontoxic if given orally. It is a strong antioxidant and scavenge the free radical. I Astaxanthin is also used for treating Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, high cholesterol, age-related macular degeneration (age-related vision loss), and preventing cancer.
Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid xanthophyll and is one of the most common carotenoids found in nature. It is the pigment that gives corn, saffron, and many other plants their characteristic color. Zeaxanthin breaks down to form picrocrocin and safranal, which are responsible for the taste and aroma of saffron. Carotenoids are among the most common pigments in nature and are natural lipid soluble antioxidants. Zeaxanthin is one of the two carotenoids (the other is lutein) that accumulate in the eye lens and macular region of the retina with concentrations in the macula greater than those found in plasma and other tissues.
